Smash soup cans before they overflow! Made for Falling Block Jam 2026. Theme: Spaghetti. (Spaghetti is like a type of soup, right...?)

TIPS & TRICKS

• 3 fully-compacted soup blocks of the same colour are needed to create and clear a chain. They can be aligned in any way, as long as the blocks touch.
• You can carry up to 5 blocks. These add to your height. Held blocks will not chain while being held.
• You score 100 per cleared block, and a chain beyond 3 will keep doubling this score. (3 at once gives 800, 5 gives 2000, etc)
• You get an extra life every 5000 points. (First at 2500 points)
• The game ends if the blocks fill past the caution tape, or you run out of lives.
• A tech block is worth 500 on clear and works as a wildcard between chains. If a chain contains a tech block, it will destroy everything in its column and row, too.
• When turned into a tech block, held blocks are dropped as a stack above the new block. You can use this technique to create a massive combo and score a ridiculous amount in one clear.

This game is for Falling Block Jam 2026, and I'm really really really tired and didn't get to playtest this as much as I'd like before the jam deadline. It's tuned a bit on the easy side right now, but I want to add some UI to change settings I've got programmed already, make the game go faster as it goes on, not have the game start immediately, etc. There's a visual bug I found that I don't want to solve at 3:20am... I might do some small balance tweaks, art updates, and bugfixes in the future. Sorry!
